Business Unit Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations in order to achieve and maintain operational & Business excellence. Establish and communicate Business Unit objectives and assignments.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

? Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating objectives. And automotive background is a MUST.
? Manage, Control and Improve the business unit Financial and Operational KOIs and review with Management periodically.
? Engage in the business forecast /budget process to ensure accurate and efficient forecast.
? Prepare the team and attend monthly/quarterly business reviews with key customers. Continuously focus on customer satisfaction and enable the business growth.
? Partner with other leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives.
? Direct and control the activities of leaders in purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
? Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 8 years of management experience. A Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
? Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems. Able to utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, continuously striving to improve value.
? Possesses strong business acumen and proven ability to improve key financial results. Excellent communication skills and networking abilities. Effective interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes. Strong innovation skills and creativity.
? Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
? Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
? Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
? Accept to be dispatched to Chennai, India for 1 year.
