Import & Export Manager

1. Job description:
1) Work closely with head office/customer logistics team, suppliers and forwarders on shipment, customs declaration, involving in overall activities of logistics. Monitor all parties to strictly follow head office/customers' shipping menu and answer related inquiries. Coordinate with various parties to ensure on-time delivery;
2) L/C requisition, payment requisition and documents check. Process customs documents, such as invoices, packing list, B/L, FORM A,CO, etc as needed;
3) Work with receivers/suppliers the LC issues (LC opening/checking/amendment, document presentation)
4) Ensure the processed transaction is within the sanctioned credit limit or approved by the management
5). Check contents of L/C application form and Transfer L/C form to ensure their correctness before processing
6). Verify bills schedules before dispatch to customers or L/C issuing banks
7). Familiar with customer payment term as L/C or open account; Understand credit approval is a must for open account and know how to apply for credit approval.
8). Verify and make sure the PO price is correct along with the freight and payment terms, port in the system before issuing orders to vendor/ supplier.
9). High sense of cooperation with financial department about tax-refund job & high knowledge in country policy in international trade
10). Understand how to issue PO to the vendor/supplier and close PO after shipping document presentation is done. Track the payment release by customer/bank and process payment to the vendor/supplier.
11). Prepare and supervise the production of various kinds of reports for head office, management, audit, accounts and financial control
12). Train clerical staff on bills checking and processing skills
13). Supervise subordinates in daily bills processing functions and ensure subordinates adhere to the laid down procedures, manage the assignment of work, adjust work schedule and manpower requirement of the dept.


2. Job Requirements:
University level or equivalent education background, major in relative import & export courses;
Familiar with Chinese Customs/AQCIQ regulations, process of import & export;
3 years above working experience in Import & Export/ Customs fields; With working experience in any US retailers like Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Ace,Target is a plus
Good knowledge on Chinese customs regulation and operation process;
Excellent organization and coordination skills;
Strong in problem-solving and negotiation skill.
Good communication and fluent in English;
