Product Engineer



Job description:

· Understand design changes and provide build support at contract manufacturers

· Track production problems and FA on failures

· Prepare documents for FA findings

· Provide engineering debug procedures to contract manufacturers for proper repairs

· Assist in resolving product technical issues and drive unresolved technical problems to appropriate development team

· Communicate to manufacturing team on process related failures

· Identify test deficiencies and work with corresponding team to improve test coverage or screening

· Provide feedback to contract manufacturers on failure diagnostics

· Deploy and evaluate new tests and debug tool at the contract manufacturers

· Conduct targeted experiments at contract manufacturers for FA and quality improvement

· Oversee continuous improvement of existing products



Qualifications:



· BS or MS in electrical engineering or equivalent discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience

· Fresh graduate with interest in consumer product industry and a keen interest in learning is encouraged to apply

· Strong technical understanding of industrial standard interfaces such as SATA, USB, I2C, SPI, SDIO, DDR, PCIe, 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet, HDMI, DP

· Good Knowledge in computer architecture, system design and manufacturing environment

· Detail understanding of diagnostic, product test, failure analysis, and debug techniques

· Ability to understand test scripts and software programs

· Experience in system FA and mass production ramp

· Be able to use measurement instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer and Network Analyzer

· Basic knowledge of data analysis

· Organization skills necessary to manage multiple assignments and priorities

· Good written and verbal English communication skills and presentation skill

· Very proactive, innovative, team-player, analytical-minded
