Factory General Manager
Location: Foshan city, Guangdong Province, China
Income: Negotiable. Approximately 30,000 RMB/ Month
A worldwide leader in the manufacturing of custom boxes and related packaging for industries such as Jewelry, Giftware, Watch, Writing Instrument, Cosmetics, Wine and Promotional Products, is seeking an ultra-motivated Factory General Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all day to day operational issues for our Chinese production facility.
The Factory General Manager will primarily be responsible for assuring the smooth operation of the 600+ person facility.
Duties:
- Control all day to day operations.
- Supervise a staff, including Manufacturing, Quality Control, Human Resources, Customer Service, Production Control, IT, Finance and Purchasing.
- Responsible for the facilities On Time Delivery and Quality metrics
- Organize worker teams and motivate the staff.
- Constantly find ways to increase productivity by better work methods and process automation.
- Regularly and consistently report on the facility’s activities to the US Corporate Offices?
- Develop a thorough understanding of custom box manufacturing methods to better suggest improvements.
Requirements:
- 100% FLUENT IN ENGLISH.
- Resume MUST be in English.
- Current resident of the Shunde area of Foshan will get preference..
- College degree.
- 10+? years of progressive Management Experience at a 500+ worker facility.
- A stable work history including 4+ years at your last job.
- Experience in the packaging industry is not required but would be preferred..
- Background with ISO and Six Sigma preferred.
- Willingness to work hard and not leave until the job is done.
- Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel are required.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.?
