Job Summary – An experienced  Mold manufacturing professional well versed in managing operations of shop comprising High End CNC machines such as Vertical Machining Center, CNC EDM, Wire EDM and Precision Grinding Machines. Should have hands-on expertise and ensure efficient operations of the Precision Machine Shop. Ensure highest level of Quality from operations. Inculcate Safety-First culture.

1. > Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and machinists to achieve production targets
• Machine loading as per schedule
• Conduct daily reviews with team to ensure schedule adherence
• Maintain Zero-Incidence status in Shop by implementing high level of safety standards
• Manage consumables such as Holders, Cutters, Drills, Taps, Grinding Wheels, Hand Tools etc.
• Ensure adherence to actual time within estimated time
• Run effective cutter re-grinding program for cutter re-use
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of machines in the department
• Implement WCM practices
• Implement continuous improvement culture in team
• Participate in Design reviews to improve manufacturability                                                              

Position Requirements:

• A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Tool Engineering with 8-12 years of experience in managing operations in a Tool Room.
• Should be a good trainer
• Hands-on expertise in all CNC machining operations
• Should possess Excellent People Management and Communication Skills
• Knowledgeable in various machining and Heat-Treatment processes
• Able to interpret Mold drawings and decide best process to achieve acceptable part
• Conversant with MS-Office tools
• Ability to make presentations and reports to management as required
• Able to travel overseas
