Job Summary – A professional from Tooling background  having 5-10 years of work experience working in the Planning function in a highly reputed tool-room. Responsible for Process Planning activity. Well versed in ERP systems. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and periodic reports to Shop Floor and Management. Responsible for selecting the best manufacturing process for the mold elements thereby reducing manufacturing lead time, cost and enhancing quality. Capture Labor hours and costs for each project.

1. > Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Process Planning and Project tracking activity
• Responsible for OTD/OTIF of the Tool Room
• Uploading and tracking of all projects through ERP systems
• Scheduling and tracking on-going projects in the Tool Room                              
• Preparation of Process Planning Sheets with Quality Plan                                           
• Make or buy decisions based upon project urgency                                                   
• Micro level project monitoring by Daily meetings with internal departments
• Knowledge of Time estimation for all major machining operations
• Participation in Design Reviews       

Position Requirements:

• A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Tool Engineering with 5-10 years of experience
• Proficiency in Tool Planning function
• Cost Control
• Working knowledge of ERP system
• Knowledgeable in various machining and Heat-Treatment processes
• Adept at working on CAD/CAM platforms in day-to-day use
• Conversant with MS-Office tools
• Ability to make presentations and reports to management as required
• Able to travel overseas
