Job Summary – An experienced  Mold manufacturing professional well versed in managing operations of shop comprising high-end CNC machines such as Vertical Machining Centre (VMC), Turning Centre, CNC EDM, Wire EDM and CNC Grinding machines. Having good knowledge of cutting tools, work holding systems, Jigs, Fixtures, Clamping elements etc. Knowledge of manual programming on the controller. Able to independently load, program and manufacture a job as per specifications.

    

 Job Responsibilities:

    

• Run CNC Milling, EDM, Wire EDM etc. efficiently
• Manufacture of mold parts as per specifications
• Proper utilization of cutters, holders, clamping sets, etc.
• Machine loading as per schedule
• Reduce machine down-time by preparedness of next 3 jobs
• Manage consumables such as Cutters, Drills, Taps, etc.
• Ensure adherence to actual time within estimated time
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of machines in the department
• Implement WCM practices
• Implement continuous improvement culture in team

    

    

Position Requirements:

• A Diploma / I.T.I. with more than 10 years of experience operating CNC machines in a Tool Room
• Expertise in manual programming on controllers such as FANUC, Siemens, etc.
• Expertise in running EDM and Wire EDM machines
• Able to Utilize machine features for maximizing output
• Able to interpret Mold drawings and decide best process
• Knowledgeable in various machining and Heat-Treatment processes
• Ability to work on 3D CAD software will be an added advantage
• Conversant with MS-Office tools
• Able to travel overseas
