Position: Sourcing manager

Location: Dongguan

About the company:

Our client is a leading brand in consumer electronics industry.

Main responsibilities:

· Manages, develops and directs the purchasing function and leads a team of subordinates;

· Develop and execute the product sourcing strategy for the assigned category with ownership on the performance in terms of supplier’s QDCRT.

· Help source and evaluate new potential suppliers for both existing and new products, which will involve visiting the factories.

· To analyze the price evaluation key commodities, prepare short term and long term price evaluation analysis report to be able to give reference on sourcing decision;

· Develop long term sourcing strategy according to industry trend and BU requirements to maintain solid supplier base with

competitive/cost/supply/quality/tech performance

Main requirements:

· Bachelor degree.

· More than 10 years sourcing experience in consumer electronics experience, strong networking with Asia Retailers, Distributors and Resellers.

· Proven experience of managing country level business.

· Excellent problem solving skills and communication skills.

· Ability to work hard under pressure. Aggressive, outgoing and honest

· Fluent spoken English.
