职位描述
Reports To: Head of Controlling
Role Purpose:
The incumbent controls the marketing investment and monitors the non product procurement for responsible brands.
S/he coordinates among brands, controlling and finance to ensure the application of company policies and finance rules.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Marketing Investment Control
o Annual budget control to ensure the year-to-date spending (incl. commitment) is within the approved marketing budget
o Phasing control to ensure the monthly spending is in line with the sales pattern, seasonality, launch campaign, etc.
o Project control to ensure the project spending is consistent with the plan
? Follow up the frozen protoin of the marketing budget with HQ to ensure the de-freeze on time
? Anticipate any budget over-spending (amount and %) and alter management to take immediate measures in coordination with the marketing team
2. Purchase Control (Marketing Expense)
? Active involvement and participation via meetings, discussions on site / on person in the brands' purchase process to ensure the company procurement policy is respected, as well as the value-for-money purchase in the following areas:
o Vendor selection & evaluation
o Vendor pitching
o Contract / quotation analysis
o Service / product quality review (on site check, etc.)
o Vendor annual assessment
? Review and approve the brands' purchase orders for marketing expenses, together with the functional managers / brand manager as per authority level
? Analyze, evaluate and benchmark the spending and recommend to management with possible ways of reducing purchase cost, eg. with SG synergy
3. Report & Analysis
? Follow up marketing colleagues to prepare project sheets, purchase orders, payment requests, etc. on a timely basis to allow sufficient time for approval by HQ (project sheet) and local management
? Review accruals to ensure high quality closing on marketing investment
? Prepare analysis on monthly ER report of marketing investment
? Follow up marketing colleagues on analysis of the marketing activities in terms of effectiveness and efficiency (post event report, etc.) and submission to management for finalilzation
4. Project Participation
? Handle the ad hoc projects as assigned by the superior
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
? Over 5 years experience incl. min. 2 years in the marketing controlling function or related field
? Excellent communication skills
? Computer literacy (office programs)
? English, Chinese fluent?
Education and Certification Requirements
? Bachelor degree
? Marketing knowledge
? Basic accounting knowledge and analysis skills
