职位描述

岗位职责:

1. Partner and consult with key Regional Business leaders, Functional leaders, plant managers and their leadership teams to shape regional strategy, develop plans and execute performance improvement initiatives;
2. Lead and coach regional leaders through Hoshin Kanri, connecting corporate and divisional strategy to improvement initiatives, cascade to sites and functions, while ensuring cross functional alignment;
3. Develop and help improve management systems and people development processes;
4. Develop Lean capabilities of leaders, including other Vertiv Business Operating System (VBOS) practitioners in the region to create sustainable models to drive daily problem solving and continuous improvement;
5. Lead and coach leaders to integrate operations and functions end to end and drive improvement to reduce lead time, improve customer service levels, and lower total operating cost and increase cash flow;
6. Develop the Regional VBOS / continuous improvement team and lead the continuous improvement of VBOS standards, processes and methods;
7. Partnering with key regional leaders to identify key levers in our supply chains to improve quality, reduce cost, and lead time;
8. Establish or improve management systems to link performance management from shop floor to regional leadership level and cross-functionally and solve problems for the last time;
9. Create standardized work for leaders throughout operations to drive daily cadence of problem solving and continuous improvement;
10. Coach and develop Regional and Site Leaders to be strong lean teachers and coaches for their direct reports;
11. Apply Lean techniques and "Way of Thinking" to lead deep analyses and solve complex system (multiple processes) problems (creating stability, building quality and efficiency in, and establishing continuous flow);
12. Coach and develop site and functional VBOS practitioners to develop strong VBOS competency and increase capabilities to drive continuous improvement coaching without or limited external support;
13. Apply behavior coaching and change management concepts to influence decision making, shape behaviors, and create an inclusive environment;
14. Lead, coach and develop the Regional/ Functional VBOS Team to create sustainable transformation of underlying condition of processes that establishes a culture of daily problem solving and continuous improvement;
15. Responsible for the successful planning, development, administration and execution of continuous improvement projects for process improvement, including examples such as: Internal and External kanban, FG replenishment, complexity reduction, one piece flow, constraint management, setup reduction, workplace organization, design of experiments, supply chain acceleration, product transfers, etc.;
16. Responsible for the systematic and thorough documentation of all continuous improvement operations projects, including policy and procedural guidelines;
17. Responsible for working with executive team and leaders throughout the organization to identify, prioritize, plan and deploy resources to continuous improvement efforts across the Asia supply chain business while ensuring alignment with overall Vertiv strategic plan;
18. Responsible for project management and administration, including project direction and implementation of continuous improvement projects. Responsible for project cost-benefit analysis, scheduling, and resource allocation;
19. Provide consistent ongoing guidance to teams executing continuous improvement projects regarding appropriate analysis, tool usage and risk management are applied to deliver EBIT-driven results;
20. Represent operations and provide project management oversight to ensure consistent established procedures are followed for all plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs;
21. Represent operations in the development of manufacturing standards based on product requirements and manufacturing capabilities;
22. Oversee all cross-plant manufacturing processes for capabilities and to establish and instigate best practices, including manufacturing related documentation such as work instructions, drawings, and BOMs;
23. Provide total landed cost analyses for products impacted by transfer, source change, or new product development;
24. Standardize plant performance measures for a consistent review of manufacturing operations;
25. Research and lead new manufacturing practices across plants to maintain a competitive manufacturing environment;
26. Responsible for continuous improvement projects that drive value creation.
27. Establish responsibilities for manufacturing engineering support functions as they relate to CI / VBOS deployment;
28. Work with materials group to ensure production and inventory control and timely supply of purchased and manufactured components as appropriate;
29. Drive changes to procedures, policies, processes and equipment to improve the manufacturing functions;
30. Establish and maintain monthly progress reviews;
31. Establish budgets and provide control for project cost and benefits tracking;
32. Assure consistent application of company work rules, policies and practices.


任职资格:

1. Bachelor or above in electron, Automation or economics management;
2. 10+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing management and the application of Toyota Production System (TPS) methods and way of thinking. Strong experience leading the development of Lean practitioners and leaders to create a solid foundation of continuous improvement.
3. Ability to coach and lead leaders to develop continuous improvement strategies, influence decision making, deploy Hoshin Kanri, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within and across operations and functions.
4. Fluency in both English and Mandarin (Read, write and speak)
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Thorough understanding of manufacturing and materials management processes and techniques
7. Demonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate, and lead teams effectively to develop solutions addressing root cause and driving sustainable EBIT improvement;
8. Top notch analytical skills, including the use of statistical modeling techniques, root cause analysis and other tools and methods typically deployed to drive operational improvements;
9. Proven ability to analyze and lead others to transform complex productions systems / supply chains to deliver significant quality, cost, delivery, and lead time benefits;
10. Demonstrated experience in managing operational excellence teams to deliver on breakthrough business results, while establishing underlying conditions that enables stable supply, built-in quality, low labor and capital requirements, and just-in-time delivery.
11. Solid business acumen, proven team building skills, exceptionally good listening skills, results oriented with strong financial analysis skills.
12. Strong experience in applying and coaching change management, behavior coaching and consequence management methods.
13. Experience enabling and leveraging diverse perspectives, talents, etc to achieve business outcomes while creating an inclusive culture.
14. Strong knowledge of lean, as well as Six Sigma tools and methods.
