Main Responsibilities:

• Monitoring quality performance of the CMs and training up CMs quality team. Maintain and improve the quality level of CMs

• Implement and enhance the quality standards to documentation procedures like QCP, SIP, and production spec

• Communicate and develop the quality levels with CMs to ensure consistent and high quality standards

• Ensure some main process such as PCBA/Chip/Modules/battery compliance with the company quality standard

• Perform auditing on CMs & sub-contractors meet company quality standards

• DFMEA review with local team

• Responsible to define development reliability test plan, DOE for feasibility study

• Responsible to define the functional, UI, audio performance test plan

• Tracking CM engineering build/pilot run testing

• Review production equipment, process, operations, workflow in pilot run

• Review production testing follow product requirements/specification

• Responsible to perform the field testing

• Responsible for product material compliance including Rohs/Reach/Prop65

• Responsible to follow up with 3rd party lab and Legal for certification testing and approval like CE/FCC/IC/RCM/KCC/SRRC…etc.

• Lead MP release review with function team

• Responsible for MP ramp up and work with CMs to resolve the top issues

• Responsible for the ORT (On going reliability test) and control plan

• Coordinate with QC (Quality control) for inspection readiness

• Follow up CPAR with CMs; support root cause analysis investigations of any product failures.

• Lead the regular quality review meeting with CMs

• Field return root cause analysis and drive the improvement solution with CMs and function team

• Drive continuous improvement of quality system and product quality using standard methods like six-sigma, SPC…etc.

• Provide related training to the team as needed

  
  

Main Requirements

• Bachelor degree of electronic/electrical engineering

• Good communication skills

• Good ability of oral and written English

• Above 5 years of working experience in quality position of consumer electronic products;

• Battery, power bank, headphone design & manufacturing experience preferred

• EE and ME experience and knowledge preferred

• Proven ability to analyze and solving problems and maintain a continuous improvement philosophy (Mechanical and Electrical)

• Capable in working with world class chip/modules suppliers on resolving all quality issues

• Experience in using quality tools like SPC, 6-sigma, FMEA, 8D, DOE…etc.

• Understanding of IPC-J-Std and IPC-A-610 standards

• Familiar with regulatory agency requirements for electronic products like CE/FCC/IC/RCM/SRRC/NCC

• Understanding of Headphones technology, Bluetooth, Wireless, Noise Cancellation technology and testing

• Understanding of analog/digital audio and RF circuits.

• Practical experience in manufacturing environment, production automation, line validation, equipment & testing procedure

• Experience of Supplier/Process Audit, Product Inspection, Quality & Production Improvement

• FAE experience is preferred

• MSA knowledge

• Frequently travel to CMs (GD area) is needed

• Team oriented
