1. Top priority is to ensure that the molding machines, molds and auto assembly machines are well maintained.
2. Lead the maintenance technician team.
3. Lead/coordinate equipment, tooling and/or process improvement projects internally or with Headquarters or outside parties.
4. Maintain and improve the manufacturing process, design and determine tools, fixtures needed for efficient manufacture.
5. Ensure repair of equipment and tooling and fix of process in order to meet production schedules, modify equipment as necessary to maintain efficiency and reliability
6. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work force utilization, work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
7. Develop and implement appropriate work instruction and use proper process control methods.
8. Develop, or source and/or work closely with vendors to develop low cost high quality automation solutions.
9. Develop, or source and/or work closely with vendors to develop new or improved tooling, fixtures, and automation equipment for new and established products that improve manufacturing efficiencies.
10. Coordinate with the Headquarters the new product/equipment/process transfer and local source of molds and tooling projects.
11. Follow up and coordinate with equipment/tooling vendors to ensure delivery of quality equipment/tooling meet schedule.
12. Develop and implement modifications to the equipment to improve quality and production up-time
13. Utilize lean, TQM, TPM, 5S and IE techniques to continuously reduce cost and shorten production lead time, and improve flexibility.
14. Perform other related duties as required.

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
2. Five years working experience in engineering with three years or above in injection molding manufacturing.
3. Need initiative and hands-on experience to resolve problems and able to work as a member of a team.
4. Good mold maintenance and repair knowledge and basic mold design knowledge.
5. Basic computer programming knowledge.
6. Ability to develop tools, fixture and procedures to support production and continuous improvement.
7. TPM, LEAN, 5S and safety knowledge and experience as well as basic IE skill.
8. SPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge and experience.
