• Provide support to the Head, Middle Office in assisting the Front Office to fulfil its KYC obligations

• Activity covers all business lines, with an emphasis on financial institutions

• Primary scope of activity will relate to KYC function, including

  (a) Remediation of the existing customer base;

  (b) Coordinating and performing customer onboarding and periodic reviews;

  (c) Assisting RMs to raise and maintain the quality of their KYC profiling;

  (d) Handling of potential name hits during client onboarding, KYC refresh and delta update;

  (e) Regular or ad hoc reporting and escalation of KYC MI or emerging issues

• Other activities will be delegated by the Head, Middle Office, as needs arise. These may include updating policies or development of improvements to Middle Office related operating procedures.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Provide training to the new members to be able to work independently within a short period of time.

• Provide ongoing training to the team members for any internal and regulatory update.

• Produce SOPs of various major tasks for Head of Middle Office to review such as Daily Name Check, KYC on Counterparties, KYC on Correspondent Bank, etc.

• Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the KYC obligations are completed accurately and timely.

• Assist the Head of Middle Office to oversee projects (such as Project BAR) to ensure the deadline is met.
