Description of the job (main tasks, supporting tasks, reporting line, main areas of responsibilities, etc.)

-          Be able to design and simulate needed RF solutions

-          Implement RF part of product, including solution proposal, specification definition, components selection, design simulation, finalization of schematic and BOM, debug and testing   

-          Provide technical pre-studies to customers

-          Prepare sales and marketing material (from idea to solution) in technical view

-          Be responsible for technical qualification of needed design partners

-          Work and discuss with customer to find out technical solution for customers request

-          Other works allocated by supervisor

Key responsibility:

-          To be RF designer in China RD team, communicate with customer and internal global organization, carry out proper and competitive proposal to customer, so that customer aware value of Orbis solution

-          As technical core of Orbis China RD team, collaborate with electrical engineer, software engineer and mechanical engineer to develop Orbis RF products such as OTA test system, solid states switch matrix, VAM and VPM, etc.

-          Tracking 5G technologies, join global 5G RD team to implement Orbis 5G solution, transfer technologies from other site to local

-          Tracking latest RF conductive testing technologies, could balance cost, technologies and performance to  implement competitive product

Work experience and requirements for skills

-          More than 3 years’ experience in professional telecommunication test & measurement industry

-          Design experiences of solid states matrix or VAM, VPM relative technologies

-          Good knowledge of RF PCB layout

-          Strong know-how of RF technology and RF measurements, testing, in Base station area

-          Have basic knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical, software and mechanical sub-systems

-          Excellent skill utilizing with instruments and measurement tools in telecommunication industry

-          Good knowledge of RF components, can recommend proper component based on customer requirement

-          Good documentation and presentation skill to present Orbis solution to internal organization or customer，Engineering, or Electro-magnetic Field & Microwave Technology;

-       Sales training or work experience at customer interface is a plus factor ；

Main teams person will participate/join (management teams, collaboration teams, etc.)

-          Engineering team member, deliver proposal to customer, collaboration team is internal and external sales team. Give input to internal organization so that solution proposed to customer can be executed. Reports to Operations Manager

Language skills:

-       Fluent spoken and written English, Chinese (mother tongue)

Working hours:

-       This position needs flexible working hours

Special issues/aspects to be considered in candidate interview:

-          This position needs person who has strong experience of RF technology. Can talk face to face with customer and be a closest technical contact person between Orbis Systems and customer.

-          Can deliver value based proposal to customer

-          Knowledge and experiences on 5G OTA applications should be a plus
