Job Responsibilities:

    

1. Cost evaluation of materials, components, assemblies, manufacturing procedures and processes and/or equipment.

    

2. Identify cost saving opportunity for existing productions.

    

3. Produce and assemble prototypes for design review, fit-up and design verification testing.

    

4. Participate in prototype and pilot testing to ensure products meet requirements and design intent

    

5. Ensures that all tools are designed in the most competitive manner considering cost, technical requirements and customer specifications.

    

6. Highly involved in new business opportunities development, ensure that the tools are built exactly as the accepted quote.

    

7. Collaborate with quality, regulatory and manufacturing in the design transfer and pilot production of new product.

    

8. Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

    

9， Involvement in tool design, moldflow and DFM review process if in need.

    

    

Job requirement:

• MUST have 4 years of tooling design experiences
• Experience or familiarity with CNC machining requirements and computer aided inspection methods for tooling.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry is. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to conduct improvement studies on assigned fabrication tooling and manufacturing operations to simplify existing design or methods, reduce manufacturing or operating time and costs, or to use new materials for tooling or manufacturing applications.
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
• Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good command of written English and ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software; Design software; Project Management software and Manufacturing software.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and have strong computer skills
• High degree of honesty, ethics and integrity.

岗位要求

• 需具备4年的模具设计经验
• 熟悉CNC加工要求和模具的计算机辅助检查方法
• 具备翻译书面及口头的各类要求指令等
• 能够处理数学概念如概率和统计推断，以及平面和实体几何和三角学的基本原理。 能够将分数，百分比，比率和比例等概念应用于实际情况
• 能对特定的生产工具和生产操作进行改善，以简化现有设计或方法，减少生产或操作的时间和成本，或使用新物料应用于模具或生产方面。
• 积极主动，自我驱动型，能够识别问题并妥善解决及改善
• 以客户服务为导向，快速响应
• 较好的人际交往能力
