职位描述
The market research project manager at IPC China will work closely with the market research group at IPC headquarters in the USA. This person will report to a vice president or a person at a comparable level at IPC China, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the director of market research.
Duties:
1. Plan and execute market research studies in China, as directed by the director of market research, including survey development, data collection, analysis and reporting.
2. Recruit Chinese companies to participate in IPC statistical programs, increasing the number of participating companies each year.
3. Work closely with the management councils in China to drive support for the statistical and other market research programs.
4. Retain the active participation of Chinese companies in the programs.
5. Review and edit English translations of surveys and reports from Chinese.
6. Develop a thorough knowledge of the IPC statistical programs and adhere to IPC policies governing data confidentiality.
7. Develop a solid understanding of IPC's member industries, technology and market issues, and industry needs.
Skill Set:
1. At least three years of market research experience, including project management, preferably in the business-to-business technology space.
2. Excellent English-language proficiency as well as excellent communication skills in Chinese.
3. Experience as an analyst in a technology field preferred.
4. Sales skills preferred.
Special Requirements:
Protecting the confidentiality of participating companies' data is crucial. The market research project manager will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
