职位描述
Position Description:
• Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with engineer’s team to understand and drive technical investigations to closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-site development and manage communication of progress and status within the core team and with external partners.
• Develop processes to improve product productivity match carrier homologation process (internal- and external-facing).
• Develop a plan and schedule with well-defined milestones and track progress towards it; escalate issues as necessary.
• Monitor, prioritize and triage incoming bugs.
• Focus on Japan Telco product (SBM), know well with other region telco, EMEA&NA.
Position Requirements:
• 6+ years Program/project management experience delivering complex technical projects while working with vendors and partners on Smartphone/Tablet or similar products
• Extensive direct experience working with one or more carriers(Softbank, Docomo, ATT, VZW, Orange) to deliver products that operate on their network, including supporting lab/field testing
• Knowledge of carrier device certification requirements and processes,
• HW architecture design experience on Smartphone/Tablet or similar product.
• You have extraordinary verbal and written command of the English language, Japanese language is a strong plus.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
• You are obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
• You are self-motivated and dedicated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
• Willingness to travel, as necessary, occasionally on short notice
