Oversee projects both in the ASL Shenzhen office and remotely by visiting production sites collaborating with merchandising, quality management and Global logistics departments.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate with suppliers for all designated projects to ensure continuous progress is monitored either by means of site visit or by photographic transfer and any capacity issue or variances to specification are quickly identified and escalated appropriately.
• Identify where all ASL products are manufactured irrespective of the supplier and ensure appropriate internal audits are scheduled.
• Provide timely and effective on-site support to factories for key projects – identifying potential issues, communicating with merchandiser and Quality team to ensure all items produced are to the specified standard and within the specified timeline.
• Manage and report production schedule / capacity plan.
• Trouble shoot any issues arising in production.
• Communicate with intercompany departments daily to ensure production & supply is on schedule and clearly communicated.
• Work with internal QA department to plan and arrange ASL on-site presence and ensure Quality Management plans are being implemented.
• At the end of each key project review with merchandisers and publish a learnings document with cost reduction suggestions, efficiency observations and any key data which will ensure a better implementation next time

• At least 3 years of working experience in a sourcing and/or manufacturing environment.
• Possess good knowledge on production and production control processes across a wide range of product categories (cut and sewn, stationery, plastics, drinkware and etc.).
