Responsibilities ：

Business Strategy and Marketing:

o Stay current on overall automotive landscape and government programs in China; follow through subsidy programs and develop relationships that can enhance business opportunities for APBU

o Promote solutions developed by a partner that could be an existing western customer or a local design house with whomwe need to enhancerelationship accordingly.

o Identify key players in China auto market, develop an ongoing database about top tier OEMs’ technology focus, product specs, roadmaps, end customers and supply chain

o Support key automotive accounts development and management; increase IR presence; create account-specific business strategies; manage customer relationships (in conjunction with local Sales Managers, Product Managers and corporate Business Manager)

Technical:

o Gain in-depth understanding of customers’ applications

o Work with Technical-Marketing-Application team in the US and Europe on new product definitions that are unique to China; contribute to R&D roadmap definition

o Identify design-in opportunities and follow through design-in progress

o Minimum of 5 years of relevant design/build/test experience in power electronics

o Familiarity with thermal models and able to test with appropriate methods

o Experience with choosing the right passive and active components

o Familiarity with circuit analysis (SPICE or Saber)

o Familiarity with MS Office, experience in Mathcad and PCB layout software a plus

o Ensure all business and technical intelligence is communicated with headquarters promptly

Credentials required

· Familiarity with China’s overall automotive landscape; prefer candidates with established relationships and contacts with tier 1 automotive suppliers in mainland China

· Related product marketing/sales professional experience in semiconductor industry, preferably in automotive electronics (minimum 5 years)

· Experience in tailoring business activities to meeting revenue/profit goals

· Strong team player but capable of work independently (intensive connection with the team in El Segundo)

· International travel required

· BS degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred

· MBA a plus
