In China, we are working with Multinational Corporations (BMW, Fiat, Volkswagen…) and Local brands (Geely…) on tomorrow’s challenges such as Autonomous Driving and Connectivity, Powertrain and Electro Mobility & Complete Vehicle Development.

To strengthen our Project Management Team in China and help our clients deliver their key projects, we are looking for Telematics Box Module (TBM) Component Engineer.

Responsibilities

? The Uconnect TBM development Engineer is responsible for the development of TBM and applications for Uconnect Connected Vehicle Program. This includes:

? Working with cross-functional team on hardware architecture, mechanical design, software architecture and application framework

? Prepare detailed specifications.

? Application development

? Work with multiple stakeholders to analyze requirements, clarify design dependencies, create test plans, support functional and non-functional activities

? Ensure parts are available to meet program and timing requirements for vehicle integration, PWB, VP, PS & launch – as defined per EEDP

? Support the Service Delivery Platform team for service integration

? Support Radio team for service integration

? Support manufacturing launches as required

? Support testing efforts by engaging in troubleshooting and providing solutions to issues.

Profile

In order to fulfil the role, we are looking for talented candidates with the following profile:

? Education: BS and above degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechanical Engineering

? 3 years of experience in EE component development

? 5 years of telematics experience

? Comprehensive understanding of Connectivity system architecture and application use cases

? Working knowledge of writing functional and technical specs

? Be able to work together with partners to deliver new products

? Competent use of Microsoft applications including MS Project or Project Server, Clarity PPM, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

? Management and leadership skills

? Capability to manage a multi-national team

? Excellent communication skill (ability to communicate cross culturally);

? Ability to manage vehicle level project to assure all problems are resolved and timing milestones are met
