Our client is a Fortune 500 company which design and manufacture industrial products. Due to the contiuned growth and and sucess of organization, an exciting oppportunity has arisen for an Commodity Manager to join the company.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and measure a Global Commodity Strategy and Business plan that fully meets the needs of the Business.
Responsible to establish databases for suppliers’ information (general information, assessment, contractual documents, frame agreement, price level etc.);
Identify the best suppliers national wide in terms of quality, price and delivery time and to set up the supplier’s portfolio according to the company instructions;
Lead Supplier Performance Appraisal to the instructions. And to identify best suppliers according to appraisal result;
Develops and updates commodity strategy, Reviews and approves new add/change suppliers to ensure a qualified, low cost, and strategically located supply base to support current and anticipated material requirements;

Requirements:
Bachelors degree, engineering background is a plus.
At least 10 years sourcing experience.
Ability to work in an international environment with constantly changing requirements;
Good commercial sense.
Speak fluent English.
