Operations Manager

We are a manufacturer of complex parts for the semiconductor industry. We currently have an opening for a Operations Manager reporting to Director of Operations from our US Headquarter. As a part of this position, your responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

Job Description:

Provide leadership of logistics, materials, supply chain, planning, and manufacturing functions and to manage these tasks directly with related depts. The operational manager’s key challenges includes maintaining production within specific guidelines for production efficiency, materials supply, labor cost, rework, waste, and control of overall product cost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives;

· Analyzing delivery and inventory issues and providing solutions;

· Establishing and controlling conditions of production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications;

· Participating actively in standardization, cost reduction, and finding out ERP system protocols;

· Directing managers in execution of operating strategies and plans;

· Organizing and directing workflow for satisfying production requirement in a cost-efficient manner;

· Investigation and analyzing new mfg techniques and processes, where feasible;

· Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environment;

· Support purchasing, stock control;

· Maintaining proper employment levels through selecting, interviewing, and training of personnel;

· Supervising entire operation of production under the General Manager;

· Performing analysis of manufacturing materials and determining optimum control levels;

· Liaising with Production Managers on planning to satisfy customer’s shipments;

· Maximizing the efficiency of production lines and ensuring effective employees utilization.

Qualification:

· University graduate;

· Minimum of 15 years of manufacturing experience;

· Lean manufacturing experience;

· Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is a must, and computer literature;

· At least 5 years in managing experience in mainland China;
