Job description:
· Understand customer requirement and RFQ
· Generate technical proposal description with detailed cycle time, detailed station description
· Generate technical system layout
· Define the solution detailed cost and engineering hours
· Validate cost with department director
· Assist Sales and department director during customer meetings and clarifications
· Cooperate with controls proposal and technical leader to share the solutions
· After order from customer, organize, lead and follow up the project engineering team to execute the project
· Generate the mechanical engineering detailed timing and resource plan together with the Project Manager and the Engineering department manager
· Responsible to lead project concept engineering and concept review meetings
· Participate concept review meeting with customer
· Responsible to lead project detailed engineering and details review meetings and release
· Generate BOM with engineering project team
· Follow up engineering hours and forecast
· Support other departments: Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Site assembly
· Follow up and solve open issues related to engineering with engineering project team
· Support all team and management to achieve customer best satisfaction at the best cost level
· Participate project reviews
· Participate and support for customer final approval
· Keep up to date with suppliers latest technologies and solutions

Profile requirements:
· At least 8 years experience in proposal / mechanical engineering
· Good knowledge of the powertrain technologies
· Good knowledge of the special equipments for assembly and test systems and solutions
· Good knowledge of solutions cost
· Familiar with customers specifications
· Familiar with potential suppliers and solutions (pressing, fastening, leak testing, measuring, feeding, air cylinders, Servo, electric slides, …)
· Successful at sharing information
· Team spirit

· Willing to travel (China or abroad)
· Sense of cost and time management
