Job Responsibilities:

Participate in the development, measurement and implementation of IFS sales and marketing plans for our forwarding services in Asia. Requires close working relationships with other Pricing groups and Commercial Mgt across the regions

Work closely with the ASD's and field sales to develop new clients and acquire new FFWD business to build up our base. Assist in the pipeline qualification process.

Liaison with other Global procurement team members (GPP) in Asia and Regional Pricing (RP’s) in Europe, N America and Latin America to secure needed carrier capacity and pricing, develop the routings and service options, measure carrier performance and maintain carrier/supplier relationships.

Work closely with the ****Regions (Asia, Europe, Latin America) staff as part of the Global Pricing and Procurement effort (GPP) to insure the Forwarding priorities and message are executed on a global basis.

Assist to drive the Asia sales acquisition process, including pipeline qualification and targeting. Participate as needed in sales calls and key / strategic customer QBR’s.

Assist Product Mgt in the liaison with corporate communications on IFS product particulars, such as product offerings, successes, and overall product information distribution.

Stay abreast of developments in the freight forwarding ocean marketplace, as well as the overall Supply Chain Management universe, in order to proactively develop product enhancements in a dynamic competitive environment. Conduct competitor and market analyses.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, although equivalent experience relevant to the job may be considered.

Above 2-3 years relevant Freight Forwarding / Logistics experience desired. Preferably time spent in a pricing role.

Understanding of the Forwarding/Logistics/Shipping Markets. Result driven and aggressive attitude towards challenges. Must show clear leadership skills and the ability to work closely with regional team members - must demonstrate strong independence characteristics.
