1. Manage marketplace knowledge and product expertise to ensure team is conducting market research and competitor analysis for specific product categories

2. Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production - Build and maintain strong business relationships with vendors - Evaluate vendors' capability - Keep track of vendors' performance

3. Manage the ordering process with the team, to ensure proper preparation of orders and related documents, to ensure smooth request-to-shipment execution.

4. Arrange sample submission to customers for approval - Inspect samples - Pack and send samples

5. Work with Quality, Supply Chain teams to resolve any quality and shipment issues.

6. Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience in a purchasing / sourcing position, with experience in stationery, kitchen ware, home appliances etc.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Customer-oriented with good negotiation skills.

Enjoys challenges, positive and able to work under pressure.

Independent and able to take initiative.

Familiar with European customers and markets is a plus.

Fluent in oral & written English.

Proficient in MS Excel applications (Word, Excel, Power-point).
