• 50%-Engineering project management including benchmarking, product requirement development, and test protocol development, 3rd party testing project and service provider management.

• 30%-Conduct financial and value based calculations, summarize the findings for the business in presentation quality format and communicate findings to key stakeholders

• 10%-Complete resolution of product performance concerns

10%-Provide general product Engineering guidance and knowledge or evaluations as required to deliver short term business goals.

Job Requirements:

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

• 5 years’ experience of engineering related field.

• Product costing experience

• Extensive understanding of Bills of Materials

• Experience working in a manufacturing and/or product development environment including design for reduced Manufacturing and Assembly costs

• Experience working with OEM suppliers through the product development cycle

• Experience working with vertically integrated manufacturer

• Experience of quality continuous improvement program and execution (six sigma or Lean)

• Good project management experience and organization skills.

Cross function communication skills – English / Mandarin – Oral / Written

• Good working knowledge of various materials and manufacturing processes related to housewares and tabletop items – i.e. ceramics, glazes, glass, and metal forming and coatings

• Good understanding of tabletop and kitchen item end use and functionality

• Familiarity with food contact articles and related regulatory requirements

• Influences others, leads self effectively, drives projects and follows through on commitments

• Rapidly assesses technical challenges, applies creative problem solving skills, and builds an effective course of action

• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills that are adaptable to circumstance and audience

• Interpersonal skills
