Purpose
IKEA wants to be known as the leader in life at home in China. China is rapidly becoming a major digital market with increasingly sophisticated consumers. To be the natural first choice for home furnishing inspiration, interaction and product choice on the web, IKEA must understand both these new consumers and their fast evolving digital lifestyles, most importantly develop a strong web presence and secure seamless and integrated web experience through all online contacts, thus contributing to achieve IKEA's marketing and business objectives.
Mandate
Execute and maintain content, functionality and user experience on IKEA web/mobile sites and related applications. Support marketing campaign convert online traffic to store. Attract new visitors and improve engagement to increase return traffic to IKEA.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
1. Ensure a seamless and integrated IKEA experience across web, mobile and applications, building a strong IKEA web presence and amplifying brand through experience - 50%
? Receive, plan, execute and maintain web/mobile/APPS content and functionality defined by global web team while make it locally relevant. - 40%
? Measure and analyze user web experience, apply the insight to optimize web experience across multiple digital channels. - 8%
? Assist web mgr on China web presence strategy and initiative by providing performance metrics and web/user intelligence. - 2%
2. Optimize online conversion stimulating store traffic - 40%
? Define IKEA Web campaign assets (technical, usability and communication) that are relevant to site visitors and can meet business objective as well. - 2%
? To maximize the conversion of web traffic generated from marketing campaign, the web specialist will identify critical metric for online marketing campaign; measure, analyze and follow up them. -3%
? Collaborate with external agencies to develop campaign or activities website/webpage/mobile/APP and integrated with external communication. - 25%
? Work with sales team on Range management securing sales steering. - 10%
3. Extend IKEA Web reach - 10%
? Implement SEO action plan according to global blue print and guideline, optimize the SEO content to be local relevant, and measure the result improve site traffic and conversion rate. - 5%
? Analyze and measure keywords for website, define efficient keywords strategy for China market. Secure paid search implementation from the media agency and follow up the result. - 3%
? Improve the level of engagement and relevance to attract more home furnishing visitors and build return visits. - 2%
