ASSIGNMENTS:
- Responsible for complete and 100% correct product documentation (such as drawings, specifications, fitting lists, labels, assembly instructions, etc.).
- Be up-to-date with IKEA's documentation standards, specifications, working methods and applicable IT tools.
- Give technical input to the development projects and contribute with know-how regarding construction, material, production, quality and customer.
- Responsible for choosing applicable test methods.
- Assist in developing test methods in close cooperation with ITTC Test Lab in Shanghai and Product Requirements & Compliance at IOS.
- Responsible for communicating and collaborating regarding product requirements with external parties such as IOS, Trading, Suppliers, Test Lab, Packaging, ICOMP, ICOM, and Customers.
- Supporting external users in handling PLUS.
- Responsible for planning and executing TQE Gate Checks in cooperation with PDE & PD, as well as the receiving team at IOS.
- Contribute to product risk and production risk assessments (FMEA).
- Contribute in the Product Sustainability Scorecard evaluation.
- Keep an updated picture of customers' needs and demands.
