1. Develop, implement, manage and integrate quality processes, procedures and tolerances for all

manufacturing activities.

2.Establishe and maintain quality performance metrics.

3. Collect and analyze statistical data to detect product issues, reduce waste and identify process

variations which may affect quality.

4. Conduct internal audits, monitoring performance in relation to pre-determined objectives and

adherence to procedures and practices.

5. Design, implement and record procedures for process control, testing and inspection.

6. Define requirements and procedures for tracking defect through manufacturing processes.

7. Identify problems related to product and process, including mock-up, artwork, printing,

materials, process conditions, operator or equipment.

8. Utilize root-cause analysis and other problem solving techniques to identify and establish a

causal connection, implement corrective action and ensure the prevention of recurrence.

9. Elevate issues as required for specialized remediation and/or redesign of product or processes.

10. Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to resolve in-process quality issues and

ensure optimal operator and machine performance.

11. Work with manufacturing as a part of a team to develop and implement continuous

improvement activities.

12. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and training guidelines for new

and existing employees.

13. Provides input to product development, engineering and mock-up on technical matters relative

to new or re-designed product and process improvement.

14. Assist in manufacturing implementation of new processes, equipment or techniques,

establishing quality standards as required.

15. Maintain documentation and track all customer complaints.

16. Interfaces with customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control.

17. Identifies and substantiates quality issues related to suppliers and vendors, and assure that

effective corrective action is implemented. Works closely with Purchasing to issue complaints

and prepare claims when required.

18. Documents and tracks rejections of raw materials, WIP and finished products.

19. Other tasks from upper management.
