Global Supply Planning

·         Leadership for all Consumer supply planners based in Shenzhen and Northridge US.

·         Leadership for global demand fulfillment against 8 worldwide regions and covering products across 5 Business Units.

·         Leadership for global supply management from worldwide ODMs across Asia, Americas, Europe.

·         Responsible for both finished goods and spare parts supply planning management.

·         Responsible for supply planning performance including supplier management for on-time delivery, backorders, inventory turns, excess inventory management, forecast accuracy and COPQ.

·         Responsible for NPI supply planning management including capacity assessment as well as work with OPM to drive material availability to ensure on time and smooth NPI launch in the regions.

·         Foster strong working relationships with internal cross-functional team and with external ODMs and tier 2 suppliers.

·         Meet with the ODMs daily/weekly to review/resolve the critical and operational shortages to drive improved Fill Rates and reduce backorder.

·         Work with Commodity team and tier 2 suppliers. Resolve any outstanding material issues and other supply issues and offer strategic solutions for the future.

·         Drive scenario planning to support strategic decisions on inventory allocation/reallocation among regions including critical components and finished goods.

·         Work with regions to manage demands in order to optimize inventory levels, reduce shortage and/or excess/obsolescence risk.

·         Drive strategic proposal on global/regional buffer stocks, pre-builds to mitigate potential industrial challenges and to support potential business upsides.

Global Supply Planning Improvements

·         Supply planning process improvement including template, contents and further deployment

·         Develop strategies to support YOY business growth and KPI improvements

·         Drive SAP related improvement projects to automate planning and reporting. Drive efficiency improvements

·         Drive lead time reductions

Required Education and Experiences:

·         BS/MS Engineering or Supply Chain Management related (Masters preferred)

·         Over 10-15 years of relevant working experience preferably in the areas of procurement and supply chain with a record of increasing responsibility

·         Preferred experience in similar industry managing supply chain globally from China

·         Minimum of 8 years of experience leading a sizable team

·         Ability to work independently, establishing priorities, setting goals and decision-making.

·         Proven ability to lead and influence diverse global teams to achieve cost and time to market commitments.

·         Ability to gather relevant information systematically; consider a broad range of issues or factors; grasp complexities and perceive the relationship among problems or issues; seek inputs from others.

·         Encourage and empower others to achieve; establish challenging performance standards; create enthusiasm, a feeling of investment, and a desire to excel.

·         Demonstrate resourcefulness to effectively leverage and focus resources across organizational/geographic boundaries
