Our client is a European world-leading industrial machinery company which concentrates on providing technology and services for mining, aggregates, oil, gas, recycling, pulp, paper and other process industries. We are searching for their factory a general manager who will lead the business with focus on production and finance. Responsible for the full operations success including sales, after sales, technical, production, HR & Administration.

Reporting line: The Chairman of the Board

Main responsibilities

• Execute the company’s strategy taking the full responsibility for the company’s operations and result.

• Work with operation and technical deputy GM to ensure the production timeliness and develop the efficiency.

• Increase the sales and after sales through current sales channel and to also create new sales channel development.

• Optimize production process and reduce cost.

• Supervise the business process according to the quality standards.

• Further develop the local supplier network and logistics systems.

• Together with related functions ensure that Profit and revenue targets as well as other KPI’s are

  reached and the cost control is efficient within the organization to meet the KPI targets.

• Work actively with further development of the middle management team, company culture, and

  retention of people.

• Responsible for the site HSE (Health and Safety) standards to lead the development of a safe working environment in line with the company targets.

Requirements

• Strong drive and commitment, ability to drive the operation function towards ambitious targets.
• Preferably a production background in machinery or related industry.
• Good at communication and leading teams.
• Ability to develop new business and to manage the business portfolio.
• Mandarin and English languages, Cantonese is an advantage.
