Job Responsibility:

• Mentor Plants and regional finance personnel through the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training program at the certification and the project stages. Post certification - ensure the tools learned are used and track the benefit gained.
• Train plant and regional based individuals on new processes or LSS techniques.
• Act as a catalyst to drive Continuous Improvement mentality into the overall team.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Continuous Improvement tools, strategy and planning.
• Ensure that all Continuous Improvement activities align with Jabil’s line of sight initiatives and with the other regional development managers through involvement with the finance transformation team
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement activity in all areas of responsibility and help implement global baselines in all areas of finance.
• Work hand in hand with Plant Lean Managers to bring Jabil’s lean program into the financial processes and systems (for example validating that the financial benefit from projects is correctly accounted for built into both the forecast process and variance analysis process).
• Provide leadership and support to ensure that Plant based Improvement teams are productive.
• Work with the other regional CI Managers to implement global improvement projects as directed by the CI steering committee. This may involve taking the lead for certain global projects or implementing in one or more plants within the CI managers region. The goal of these employees is to facilitate the improvement of the service finance offers its internal customers to enable:
• Margin Improvements through ensuring the plants have baseline process in place and sharing any new best practice across all Jabil sites to enable the best process and systems use aiding in data accuracy and providing insight into margin for the business.
• Cost Competitiveness - Align costs through standard processes and define regional dashboard and league tables between sites - take part in multi-functional lean activities.
• ROIC Optimization - Work with the sites to aid in improvements to free cash flow and bring processes into best practice and limit Jabil’s potential liabilities
• Facilitate plant process improvements for plant specific issues and feedback improvements through the CI managers to implement improvements in other sites updating baseline processes. Providing a communication portal between the plants and the global lean initiative.
• Assess new product or process requests put forward by the plants to the FTT for appropriateness (i.e. does a solution already exist in another location)
• The CI Manager will work as guided by a steering committee and needs to ensure that efforts in the region are aligned with the finance VP’s line of sight and communicate that same line of sight to all employees within their region.
• Implementation of a wide range of projects and so will need to keep up-to-date with financial processes and their purpose for Jabil.
• Provide suggestions for improvements – applying their knowledge of LSS and finance to suggest the best use of their time for Jabil’s benefit.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Lean or a Six Sigma Finance environment.
• Understanding of Lean tools and techniques (eg. value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, Four Fields analysis, flow and problem solving).
• Ability to influence a wide range of users within Finance, Operations and Business.
• Experienced in delivering training.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
