· Advanced knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks and Pro-E preferable.

· Advanced knowledge of Materials including plastics, metal forming, and glass.

· Knowledge of electromechanical appliances and their development including Mechatronic experience.

o Specific emphasis on: PCBA’s, sensors, capacitors, fuse, motors and motor controls, program logic.

· Ability to create working prototypes of electronic appliances.

· Able to present and organize material in a clear and organized manner.

· Able to collaborate with JHB in USA and relay requirements on to vendors/factories to complete advanced engineering task.

· Takes initiative and works without close supervision.

· Knowledge of UL, ROHS, FDA, ETL, ASTM, EU, and ISO standards.

· Knowledge of food handling and preservation is a plus.

· Able to compile specifications, DFMEA’s, FEA, BOM’s, and other technical documents.

· Understanding of Mold flow, parting line analysis and design for manufacturing.

· A drive for new innovation.

· A team player with strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple tasks, projects and manager priorities.

Qualifications

· Qualified Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (4 years).

· Project management experience a plus.

· Statistical process control and Quality experience a plus.

Requirements

· Must be Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

· Strong English communication skills a must!

· Must have experience with electromechanical appliances.

· Computer savvy – video conferencing, Skype, SharePoint, etc.

· Worked with major Chinese factories and understands supply chain logistics.

· Previous experience working with US based companies a plus.

· Knowledge of CAD software including SolidWorks and Pro E.
