职位描述

Position summary & Missions:
The Business Power Product Manager is responsible for supporting the growth and profitability of HBN Business Power products. This primary function of this position is to work with cross functional teams to manage existing business power products. This position will also support business power future product managers in new product definition and development activities. This position has a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of product management activities, including conducting market research and customer VOC analysis to drive the direction of the product lines, performing ongoing competitive analysis, developing market launch plans for assigned products, and effectively managing the lifecycle for released products.
This position will initially report to the Global VP of HBN Offer Creation & Marketing, who is based in Shanghai; and later transition to report to Global Director of HBN Business Power Offer Management, which is currently open.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with business development and future product managers to understand the customer needs and willingness to pay. Support to conduct marketing research and generate insightful analysis on our end-markets, competitors, suppliers, and products. Support to manage product roadmaps and portfolio of future business power products.
  • Manage the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process. Validate the forecast and inventory levels of products especially at product introduction and product phase-out stages of the life-cycle.
  • Interface regularly with Program Management, R&D, Quality, Services and Industrialization teams to optimize product quality, cost and time-to-market throughout the development cycle, from early road mapping stages to launch activities. Support Product Launch and Introduction support. Collaborate with engineering and quality to address customer field quality issues.
  • Co-ordinates with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to get the monthly reports in time and analyze the reports to highlight Business performance by using tabular, statistical and graphical analysis
  • Support leadership on other key initiatives and programs
Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering or business from a premier university. MBA degree is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience from MNC. Experience from fast-growing startup companies is a plus. Global working experience is a plus.
  • Candidate must possess demonstrated skills in market research, pricing, competitive analysis and market positioning and segmentation. Candidate should have a strong finance acumen and good understanding of P&L.
  • Candidate must have proficient skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, being able to create business presentations targeting to senior level audience.
  • Position requires frequent communication with teams across globe (mostly in North America, Asia and Europe). Candidate must be comfortable in working in a very diversified global team, with a fast-paced working environment.
  • Candidate must possess excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills.  Proficient English skills is a must, both in written and oral.
  • Understanding of IT, Data Center, Software or Consumer Electronics industries is a plus. UPS market experience a major plus. Understanding of OEM/ODM contract manufacturing is a plus.
  • Able to travel – domestically and internationally, as needed
