Job Vacancy : Electronics – Senior Merchandising Manager

Responsibilities

- To lead a small team of merchandisers, prepare working plan, schedule and ensure the project assignments to be completed within timeline

- Lead new product development and sourcing from concept stage through difference development phrases till mass production on time and on quality at the most competitive cost

- To monitor and oversee progress of projects including planning, control of schedule, development costs, BOM costs.

- Coordinate with QA / QC team to determine the quality standard, manufacturing technology engineering requirements for all products

- Secure vendors operation fulfil with the company’ standard operating procedures, client standards and regulation

- Establish and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs

- Manage the team’s merchandising activities to ensure customer’s satisfaction

- Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process

- Coach and develop a quality team including succession planning and regular performance reviews to address personal growth and development needs to foster a productive and focused team

Requirements

- At least 10 years’ experience in merchandising of electronics, of which 5 years at supervisory level and with good project management skills

- Preferably to have related experience from manufacturing in smart technology area

- Good understanding of manufacturing processes

- Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills

- Proficiency in both written and spoken of English and Mandarin
