Job responsibility:

• Establish long-term and short-term sourcing strategies to support overall business growth

• Understand customers’ needs and maximize partnerships by high quality service to meet customer’s objectives

• Drive the merchandising team to conducting market research and product sourcing for customers product categories

• Establish and maximize vendors relationships and their performance, including high quality and good price, on-time delivery, to ensure development of business to meet requirements

• Oversees Placement Meetings with vendors to ensure all requirements are communicated and comprehended

• Keeps all relevant parties abreast of new processes and best methods for specified merchandise categories with emphasis on procedures, vendor capabilities, price movements, competitor activity and financial performance

• Proactively analyze and manage available reports weekly/monthly to ensure business remains in line with Merchandising strategies and sales trends

• Coaches, motivates and develop direct reports

• Manages and reviews the performance of the team assessing potential for growth and identifying career path

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, prefer MBA

• At least 10 years’ experience of trading or buying office

• Ability to think strategically and conceptually

• Details-oriented, self-motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic

• Strong problem solving, negotiation, planning and organizational skills

• Ability to travel locally and internationally
