GENERAL SUMMARY: 

    

The China e-Commerce Specialist is an integral member of the Gap China team, working with internal and external partners in terms of Gap Official Site daily operation and online campaigns. The specialist reports to and works closely with the eCom Manager as well as the partnership with TP and other business vendors.     

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

       Business & Financial:

  

• Understand business goals and requirements for online campaigns and initiatives.

• Manage e-Commerce calendar and align with store promotion as well as offline MKT & CRM campaigns with one brand voice.

• Brief and work closely with internal and external agencies to execute contents MKT campaigns for Gap official site, work closely with store and online teams to meet the requirement for both channels.

• External media planning and execution, including SEM, DSP, CPS, cooperation with vertical media, etc, for both PC and mobile.

• Monitor Official Site daily operation and support online big event execution.

   Reporting:

              

• Weekly/Monthly operational reports with TP support.

• Follow up on internal reporting to meet Gap business standards.

• Hind-sight of Gap official site big events and follow up on enhancement plan and execution.  

  Leadership & Employees:

          

• Proactively seeks out opportunities to learn more about official site operation knowledge. Uses knowledge to suggest new ideas and change to UEO improvement as well as business ongoing.

• Manage and cooperate with external agencies on media planning and executions.  

  ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:  

          

• Work closely with counterpart of TP, planning & merchandise, creative team, store operation, brand marketing and external e-Commerce partners.

    

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:

          

• 2-3 years e-Commerce operation or marketing experience.

• Excellence oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to accuracy and quality of work.

• Ability to handle large amounts of data and multi-task

• Highly detailed oriented; Self-motivated and driven. Ability to work well independently and within a group setting.

          

• Exposure to retail, fashion, TP and/or multi-national companies is a plus.

  

 

  

        2) Minimum educational level:

  

•   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
