With over 10 years experience, iWatt leads the way with a new generation of innovative Power Management ICs. Intelligent use of digital technology creates devices that are far more than digitized copies of analog products.
iWatt is currently working with market leaders in solid-state lighting, notebook computers, flat panel displays and portable devices to develop high density, low cost AC/DC power supplies.
iWatt assembly and test loading has increased rapidly, and the Taiwan & China subcontractors are carrying an increasing share of this volume. In order to support the this test operation, iWatt is looking for a:

Sr. Production Test Support Engineer

Located in Taiwan, or Shanghai China


Responsibilities of the position:
Represent iWatt at our Taiwan and China SAT suppliers:
Support new product introduction, and production ramp. Support test programs releases and revisions, hardware inventory and upkeep.
Audit test-floors. Deploy procedures to assure high quality and efficient manufacturing test.
Work with factories on improving yields, efficiency and throughput.

Experience and Skills
Strong background in test concepts and ATE test-programming. Vast knowledge of test equipment: ATE testers, loadboards, fixtures and handlers.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in production IC test environment. Proficiency on Credence ASL-1000 and/or Teradyne Eagle-88 testers is an advantage.
Experience in production testing of Analog and Mixed Signal devices is required as well as practical experience in multi-site testing and wafer probing.
Good computer skills in a broad variety of operating environments, e.g. Windows NT, Windows XP, Unix.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin. Available to travel in Asia. Able to work within a team as well as independently. Effective in working with our test partners.
Good understanding of semiconductor technology, IC manufacturing, assembly, test and characterization.
BSEE/Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience; MSEE/Computer Science is an advantage.
