Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver value cost savings targets for assigned categories / business areas
Support and contribute to business objectives by implementing the Emerging Market strategy for assigned businesses
Work with PSCM ASIA Sr. Director for specific business stakeholder and senior leadership engagement
The role will be member of CPO / Director PSCM leadership team, represent PSCM Asia in business and PSCM leadership meetings for assigned business areas
Develop & maintain specific stakeholder relationship for assigned business areas
For assigned business areas / categories, routinely communicates openly and with integrity with key business stakeholders to align direction between PSCM ASIA, MSS and site Procurement and the Business strategy
Facilitate & coordinate the communication between PSCM ASIA category team & stakeholders for specific sourcing activities
Leads business specific category management team, establishing and communicating strategic direction, providing business context, coaching and direction to enable the team to meet its performance targets.
Engages stakeholders and contribute to the development of improved business specific category management strategies
Help to removes roadblocks to enable the delivery of Emerging Market sourcing value / outcomes.
Lead and manage the PSCM ASIA business specific category, quality and operation teams to ensure quality delivery
Provides leadership and direction to designated PSCM ASIA category team and exerts influence over direction and events across the assigned businesses
Drive and support compliance to standards and policies.
Minimize risk and cost exposure.
Understand the strategic and operational objectives and requirements for materials & equipments and anticipates the supporting procurement needs
Actively explores the Asia supply and industry markets to identify opportunities that can be leveraged for greater value delivery or to mitigate supply risk e.g. technology developments, standardization
Implements and realizes value through effective utilization of the emerging market capabilities including PSCM Asia and regional supplier capabilities
Support the development and accountable for execution of SPM program for tier 1 business specific suppliers
Oversee supplier development for key business specific suppliers to ensure supplier capabilities to meet BP requirements in most effective and efficient manner
Manage the due diligence in mitigating external supply risk from supplier selection through to manufacturing and shipment
Work with relevant site and market sector specialists to ensure material, equipment and service delivery that meets business requirements
Deploy the amended procurement end to end processes that engage the PSCM ASIA
Maintain awareness of quality requirements, supplier performance and lead Quality Specialist to conduct audits, inspections and corrective actions as required
Contribute to the global spend sectors strategy development by bringing deep EM / East Asia supply market and suppliers expertise to the global sector teams
Continuously build confidence in the global procurement teams and key business stakeholders that Asia can be a key element of the commercially competitive end-to-end global value chain
Guide and manage the category team to implement and realize value from Asia Emerging Market through effective cooperation with global PSCM and business team
Oversee the involvement of the PSCM Asia category managers and specialists in the end to end sourcing process
Develop relationships with key strategic suppliers for segment specific categories.
Represent BP specific business with strategic suppliers in Asia Emerging Market.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in PSCM, Business, or technical degree with relevant procurement experience
8~10 years of PSCM experience, working in category management roles with experience in managing portfolio of relevant categories for specific business
Experience in international O&G companies, preferred having worked in different cultures, especially Asia
Strong internal and external relationship building skills and strong enrolment and engagement skills
Strong oral & written communication skills
Strong professional negotiating skills
Past experience in working with and interacting with international colleagues is required
Deep understanding of the supply markets relevant to the specified spend sector categories either secured through working in a key company operating within that marketplace or through relevant procurement category expertise
Demand forecasting and demand planning expertise is recommended, but not essential
Fluent in English, fluency in Mandarin preferred
