Position: Supplier Quality Engineer – Lithium Ion Battery

Department: Quality - Asia

Working location: Shenzhen

Direct Supervisor: Supplier Quality Manager - Asia

Summary

？ Responsible for supplier quality in Lithium ion battery business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Qualification of Lithium ion battery business.

2. Supplier’s design qualification of Lithium ion batteries.

3. Supplier’s manufacturing process qualification of Lithium ion batteries.

4. Supplier’s material and vendor qualification of Lithium ion batteries.

5. Regular surveillance audit of suppliers and their key sub-suppliers.

6. Handling quality issues during design phase, industrialization phase, and mass production phase.

7. Drive root cause analysis at supplier side for quality issues and review and approve corrective actions.

8. Drive continuous improvement at supplier side.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 10 years work experience in quality field, minimum 5 years in Lithium ion battery industry, automotive industry experiences also required.

2. Familiar with supplier quality management, previous involvement in Lithium ion battery design projects preferred.

3. Rich knowledge about quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, TQM, Kaizen, QCC, etc.

4. Certified VDA6.3 auditor.

5. Certified IATF16949 auditor.

Education:

University, Bachelor degree or above.

Language:

Fluent English both speaking and writing

IT skills:

Familiar with Microsoft office.

Familiar with ERP systems.

Familiar with MES systems.

Familiar with Quality tools such as Minitab, SPC, FMEA, etc.

Other Capability:

Accountable, passionate, good communication skill and team spirit.

Travel requirement:

Frequent travels required.
