JOB PURPOSE

Assist Purchasing manager

Implement the internal supplier control procedure; make sure other departments follow the rules

Local logistics service supplier sourcing and qualification evaluation.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

l Assist Purchasing Manager on SCN annual vendor bidding arrangement.

l Assist on tender consolidations, update tenders’ query book, summary the tender GM report.

l Coordinate between the OP and vendors regarding the tariff dispute according to signed contract.

l Regular SCN market research for local logistics service and report to Purchasing manager.

l ISO document control, responsible for keeping document record, SOP and Form’s update.

l Process document approval to management team according to SOP.

Other tasks assigned by Assist Purchasing Manager.

SPECIFIC JOB   FUNCTIONS

l Monitor the status of SOP processing by operation; propose changes/adjustment according to actual situation to improve the SOP.

l Coordinate with related BUMs to make sure the tender could be submitted in due time.

MAJOR CHALLENGES

l Coordinate well with various operation and department head in daily basis.

l Assist Purchasing Manager to conduct local bidding on schedule.

l Solve problems between operations and vendors.

BASIC SKILL LEVEL   REQUIREMENTS

l Bachelor degree, major in Supplier chain/Purchase/Foreign Trade or related.

l At least two years’ experience in purchasing, with experience in logistics service purchasing will be a preference advantage;

l Ability of price negotiation and explore new purchasing sources;

l Fluent in spoken and written English;

l     Good Computer skills.
