职位描述

Director, Business DevelopmentDirectorDirectorDie

The Director of Business Development plans and directs the organizations overall business development activities including overseeing the management of the business plan, lead generation, and acquiring and retaining customers. The Director of Business Development will be primarily responsible for business generation within the China market for the themed entertainment industry, but will also be expected to develop opportunities around the Asia-Pacific region. They will consult with the senior leadership to develop the company’s business and will be held accountable for all revenue and net income goals.


Duties:

  • Identifying new sales leads

  • Pitching products and/or services

  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays

  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products

  • Developing quotes and proposals

  • Negotiating sales and relationship agreements

  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met

  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills


Skills and experience required:

  • Strong communication and IT fluency

  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems

  • In-depth knowledge of the themed entertainment industry and its current events

  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent time management and organization

  • Experience in business development related to the PPP program

  • Previous experience with business develop in large financing organizations

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree (master’s is preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or any other related field. An equivalent of this educational requirement in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
