Key Accountabilities:

> Participate in the product development process for new projects, support researching and identifying suitable equipment and processes to meet client specifications

> Support new equipment selection and evaluation during each stage together with team when project needed

> Lead new equipment development include 3D/2D design/ DFMEA/ CT study, documentation, join regular meeting with client and team on technical discussion until equipment roll in production,

> Being the manufacturing representative to drive the key documentation like DFM, PFMEA, SOP are in place in, to ensure good manufacturability are design in and ready for production ramp

> New equipment/ fixture design aim for new process development,, include scheme feasibility analysis, build and technical discussion supervision with supplier

> Responsible for new equipment installation and commissioning for new development machine/ fixture

> Identify automation opportunities for existing production lines, scoping and specifying equipment & collaborate with the industrial engineering and facility management teams on cycle time improvement and line balancing

> Collaborate with the internal product development team on part and assembly design & manufacturing feasibility

> Manage the equipment schedule and qualification process for new projects with our supply base partners for all capital equipment

> Perform other functions when needs

Knowledge & Experience:

> Bachelor Degree in mechanical/ automation engineering or advanced degree in related field

> 6+ years’ experience in equipment/ fixture development or design, know well about equipment mechanical design and electric control

> 4+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing Equipment Engineering role with a demonstrated understanding of equipment controls, mechanical and electrical systems & processes

> Demonstrated hands on equipment problem solving capability and experience

> Know well about Servo system, pneumatic, hydraulic machine structure and control system, can do parts model selection

> Multiple project management skill, can handle multiple task at the same time with quick response.

>Understanding of primary and secondary soft goods processing equipment such as die-cut, stitching, bonding, laser, emboss and heat bonding equipment, CNC etc. are a plus

> Bilingual in Chinese and English, fluent oral English, can join meeting with client on technical discussion

> A good team player with other dept, good at communication
