Touch tools development Engineer

Job Overview

Qualcomm is the industry leader in mobile communication technology, the largest fabless semiconductor company in the world. This is an opportunity to work on design, develop, and commercialize touch screen solution on the mobile devices. You will be part of a dynamic engineering team that is responsible for the performance of our touch solution. We are looking for a experienced candidate with broad knowledge to work in the following areas: Identify, collect and create software requirements for touch tools; execute full software development life cycle (SDLC); Develop Windows application interacting with touch hardware; Develop, coordinate and execute test plans; Document and maintain software functionality

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 2+ years industry experience required in the following areas: Proven work experience as Software Developer Hands-on experience designing rich graphic user interface applications Hands-on experience in database applications (SQL) Proficient in C#, C and WPF/WinForm programming languages Familiar with touch panel technologies, USB, SPI and I2C communication protocols

Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills in the following areas are a plus: Familiar with touch tools on the market Experience with touch tools support with major touch module vendors Excellent trouble shooting skills Experience with touch tools development, test, and documentation. Excellent writing and speaking English

Educational Requirements Required: Required: MS or BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
