QE Specialist (Hydroflask)

Location: Ningbo, Zhejiang

This position is responsible for providing the first article inspections for new product development and production update projects, quality management of parts throughout production, corrective action implementation, direction for inspector team and acting as a focal point to Housewares BU, specifically Hydro Flask.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide quality management of production parts through direct engagement with manufacturing partners based on continuous improvement mentality and collaborative approach to solving quality concerns.

2. Perform first article inspections on parts throughout various stages of development process, working with BU Quality Team to assist in building out quality criteria for production quality management.

3. Direct team of inspectors to assist with and/or own IQC, IPQC, FQC and OQC processes at the manufacturing site, collaborating partnering to evolve manufacturers internal quality management.

4. Drive corrective action implementation based on quality process findings to ensure that root cause is successfully determined and meaningful corrective actions are implemented.

5. Support BU project manager as necessary based on BU’s immediate needs.

   QULIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor degree or above, Mechanical relevant preferred.

2. 10 years of Experience with outdoor business e.g. sports hydration, cooler bags etc.

3. Familiar with metal fabrication, metal finishing processes, Plastic/silicon molding, Soft goods etc.

4. Competent in 8D and able to lead incident management.

5. Familiar with QMS (ISO9000).

6. Excellent communication and reporting skill.

7. Able to communicate in English (Verbal/Written).

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Power point).
