JOB SUMMARY:
- The IT Change Management Lead will play a key role in helping IT projects and initiatives meet business schedule and budget objectives. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures.
- The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement.
- The IT Change Management Lead will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved.
- While the IT Change Management Lead may or may not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Management Lead will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The IT Change Management Lead may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The IT Change Management Lead will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science or information systems or other related fields.
2. 3 years related work experience.

- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with ADKAR is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Prosci certification).
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Strong analytic and decision making abilities.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Change Management Professional (CMP) designation is a plus.
- Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Communications: Outstanding communicator at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills; very strong in one-on-one communications, small and large groups.
- Achievement Orientation: Knowledge of how the delivery of IT solutions can enable achievement. Skills required: Project Management; proactive problem solving; decision-making; risk taking; execution expertise.
- Service Orientation: Working comprehension of research methods to evaluate stakeholder requirements and responses. Skills required: partnering; proactive problem solving; scanning for and sharing business information. Knowledge of the company’s business practices and direction as well as familiarity with the company's products and resources.
- Systems-thinking: understands the connections and relationships across functions and entities for both internal and external constituencies; thinks appropriately into the future.
- Customer Service and Results Driven: focuses and aligns actions and decisions on ways to enhance service and client experience; is motivated and committed to achieving results on behalf of commitments to clients; inspires same in staff.
- Team Focus: acts & makes decisions as part of a whole; assembles and effectively leads direct report and/or partnership teams; exceptional facilitator of team work & decision-making in virtual and in-person settings.
- Communication: Sends the right messages and information to appropriate audiences verbally and in writing; ability to inspire/interact effectively spanning all levels in the organization, from line staff through Board of Directors; keeps people informed; adapts communication style to needs of audience.
- Collaboration/Influencing: Actively gathers appropriate maximum level of participation and input to decision-making, and fosters same within team; persuades others to see/recognize new perspectives to reach best outcomes.
