Job description
· Overseeing online/digital business which includes formulating strategy of the business channel and executing the agreed business plan to achieve the relevant KPIs (ie. profitability of the channel, premium production, number of customers and their retention).
· Online business development, formulae and plan product strategy for online/digital business
· Source and negotiate with insurance and service vendors/partners on executing the product strategy for online/digital business channel, develop online platform for conducting relevant business.
· The candidate should be able to utilise creative methods for attracting new business, always thinking of new ways in which this can be done.
Required Experience:
· The candidate should have more than 8 years of experience in digital business experience including min 5 years of insurance experience.
· Ability to set goals, develop strategies and schedules for meeting those goals. Must set priorities, anticipate obstacles and define alternative strategies.
· Proven leadership skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to facilitate change, persuade and negotiate to reach acceptable compromise/solutions among all levels in the organization.
· Business acumen - the ability to work with others in organization development, designing organizations and jobs, support group problem solving, and identifying and removing barriers.
· Fluent in Mandarin. Fluent English is a plus.
