Job Responsibilities:
1. To head up the local Finance team in supporting market risk, business unit controllership and finance functions and to plan, supervise and control activities of the Branch Finance function
2. Preparation, review and analysis of market risk reports
3. Evaluate daily trading activities, including trends in risk capital usage and exposures
4. Evaluate and summarize risk positions and local market environment for senior management
5. Work with global Market risk department functions to improve risk management methodologies
6. Develop detailed understanding of trading businesses and markets, and stay updated on all market risk issues
7. Evaluate market risk issues, inform and advise managers on market risk management practices and market risk issues
8. Liaise with offshore business unit controllers on control and daily p/l reporting related issues
9. Evaluate financial and regulatory reporting requirement for new trading products or changes in statutory requirement.
10. Work with IT, internal and/or external parties on the system solution.
11. Ensure compliance of local internal controls procedures and applicable Accounting Standards, regulatory requirement and Tax Laws for trading activities
12. Work with offshore colleagues on internal controls, financial and regulatory reporting issues

13. Build up peer bank network and collect market intelligence
14. To maintain integrity & accuracy of the accounting records & system and provides high quality financial reporting by checking Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss accounts, other daily activity/exception reports to ensure a correct financial position to be maintained
15. Work with overseas colleagues to carry out Firm’s internal control procedures, meet Firm’s financial, management and regulatory requirements and communicate on issues.
16.Develop, implement, monitor and review mortgage loan collection policy, procedure and management processes according to the market situation of different regions
17.Prepare annual accounts and liaise with external auditors to arrange annual review
Other Requirements:
1.Minimum of 5-10 years working experience in finance industry with at least 3 years in a management role
2.Good knowledge and experience in dealing with interest rate derivatives products and related market risk monitoring
3.Familiar with applicable accounting and regulatory rules for derivatives products
4.Good understanding of International company exposure and knowledge of IAS/USGAAP will be advantageous
5.Hands-on experience in handling derivatives license application or new business/office is preferred
6.Good communication skills in Mandarin and English
7.Strong leadership, interpersonal and project management skill
8.A proactive, self-motivated and dynamic person with highest standard of integrity
9.Undergraduate degree in accounting / finance or related field with professional qualification of Accountancy
