Testing Engineer(Software)
We’re looking for a dedicated and innovative individual with a strong personal drive. We believe you have a keen interest in software testing and test automation.
As a Software Test Engineer you will be part of a team conducting development testing and system testing of our network camera products, as well as our commercial VMS (Video Management System) applications.
In your daily work you will interact with talented firmware developers and camera designers, as well as supporting engineers from VMS/NVR vendors. You will be part of a very talented and devoted new team of developers, in a company with strong company values. Responsibilities
* Perform verification, validation and regression tests of new products to ensure products to meet required product specifications, regulatory standards and quality standards.
* Create test plans, test scripts and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements
* Write automated test cases and drive test automation in the QA team to increase efficiency and productivity
* Setup and maintain test environment
* Prepare testing report and documentation
* Work collaboratively with R&D engineers to solve engineering problems
Requirements
* Bachelor/Master degree on Computer Science, EE or Communication
* Overall 3+ years’ experience in software testing
* At least 1+ year experience in any Embedded System testing (Preferred)
* Expertise in scripting language such as Python, Perl
* Experience in testing web-based applications
* Good Mandarin/English communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, good team spirit and adaptability
* Independent way of working, proactively tackling issues
* Experience with system administration of Linux and Windows network services appreciated
