职位描述：
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? In conjunction with Product Management expectations, competitions technical capabilities and limitations related to the BU's current products.
? Implements an appropriate reporting mechanism and format for his team to track active quotes, assigned tasks, champions, progress status, due dates;
? Creates and maintains Open Quotes Status & Priorities report;
? Works with the BU responsible technical individuals and departments to ensure best efforts are made to develop optimal process for quotes with high priorities and probability rankings, so that the submitted price will secure a favorable spot for the BU among the competition. This shall include considering BU's actual performance, including standard costs and improvement targets, and comparing them to the cost model;
? Ensures timely reactions to revisit/redevelop costing, and in conjunction with the product team, pricing for serious opportunities as required to secure the business;
? Creates and Manages a Communication process to ensure Quoted Process Details and the Assumptions are appropriately Handed Off to the Project Management Team for all new awards and that all subsequent engineering changes are quoted and documented in a timely manner;
? Works with others including but not limited to, Finance, Project Management, Manufacturing to understand future and existing capabilities, cost models, customer relationships and their association to the strategic business interests of the Business Unit;
? Together with Product team defines targets and goals and prepares documents that track performance relative to these targets;
? Where costing is related, participates in developing presentations for leadership to review and approve business opportunities;
? Monitors health, safety and environmental practices in the department ensuring observance of legislated regulations and organizational rules;
? Liaises with others in the organization to share information, resolve problems and provide leadership and specialist support;
? Complies with company policies;
? Performs all other associated tasks, as may be required from time to time.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
? Finance/Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
? 5-7 years recent experience in purchasing/costing.
? Deep knowledge of cut and sew manufacturing process.
? Sport product category knowledge, negotiation skills and supply market.
? Good knowledge of cost drivers and finance.
? Sound knowledge of production and production technologies, including relevant material(s).
? Good knowledge of different cost structures and cost calculation.
? Possess negotiation skills and fluent in English.
? Team player that has the ability to multi-task and thrives in a fast paced environment
? Strong organizational skills, with the ability to attend to multiple concurrent tasks
? Highly developed analytical strengths; a keen ability for identifying and solving problems
? Ability to adapt and excel in continuously changing environment
? Excellent English written and verbal communication; Mandarin a plus
? Advanced knowledge of Excel
